The shed, with water sources comprising the water butt and mains water supply and hose nearby. A very young Mulberry tree is in the foreground, and a trellis supports a Jasmine plant by the shed door.

ree

A close-up of the aforementioned young Mulberry tree, standing about eighteen inches high.

Looking down from the shed, beyond the infant Mulberry tree.

ree

Small clump of salsify, then onions.

ree

Asparagus, virtually done for the year.

ree

Beneath the green netting lurk about 8 cauliflowers, since being almost wiped out 24 hours after planting with no cover; then, under the other netting are a couple of courgettes. Beyond them is a short row of carrots. This wild thing up close is some sort of chard gone to seed, I think.

ree

First rows of potatoes, (Pink Fir Apple and King Edwards).

ree

Beans, not long planted.

ree

Leeks from last year, now gone to seed, (will take some seeds for planting next year).

ree

Second, and last, lot of potatoes, (more Pink Fir Apple and King Edwards).

ree

Young Kiwi tree / sapling, (the 18" high thing that's central, towards the top, of the photograph).

ree

Close up of the young Kiwi plant.

ree

Raspberries nearest, then strawberries and a gooseberry bush (all rather tangled & confused).

ree

Even more-so with the rampant Jerusalem Artichokes.

ree

A bit of rhubarb.

Waste

ree

Waste / compost bin, with one of the two herb "pots" that sit either side of it overflowing with lemon balm, I think.
