10 Wisteria

This caught my eye cycling along Hampton Court Road this morning.

Almost opposite The North Canal about 80 yards behind me, in Hampton Court Park, as I take this photograph.

These splendid specimens remind me what a wisteria should, or could, look like. Back at home ours flatters to deceive, reliably and seemingly happily producing an abundance of leaves each year, and in a particularly good one, stretching to about three flowers to accompany them.
