Camouflage them. Hide them in "cats eyes". Locate them up trees. Increase their numbers. Whatever it takes. If drivers can't be trusted to keep within speed limits, and speed cameras really do act as a deterrent, so be it. It's odd how some people think they have a right to know where they are located. Why? So they can slow down, (possibly causing a hazard in doing so), safely and legally navigate the inconvenience, and then hit the pedal again. It's either reasonable and safe to drive up to a given speed limit, or it is not. If you think there are grounds for amending a speed-limit in a certain area, take it up with your Council or local MP, and get it changed.
